the instructions away for good.
An illustration to help you fully understand the relationship of pin boards and tail boards to the indexing
boards is shown below. It's really quite simple. You make the saw cuts , the width between cuts determining
the spacing of your dovetails. The saw cuts locate the ChestMate and you and your router make the dovetails.

If you can cut parallel grooves about 3/8 of an inch deep and
1/8 inch wide (The standard carbide saw blade width.)
you can make your indexing boards. The key on the
bottom of the ChestMate indexes in these grooves. You
determine the spacing and the indexing boards (Being
sisters) carry the exact spacing from your tail boards to
your pin boards. The indexing boards back up your cuts
as well, eliminating splintering.
Make the indexing boards as
one and then rip cut in half.
